What exactly is a cold frame
A cold frame is a bottomless box (usually wooden) with a lid (usually glass) that you can raise winter crops in. It can also be used to begin your spring starts in a warm environment. We employ a planting schedule,called succession planting , that keeps you in veggies year around.
